ABUJA: THE CELEBRATION OF THE FOUR HUNDRED YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONGREGATION OF THE MISSION

In his ten-minute homily, the learned confrere, Reverend Father Victor Nyoro, CM stated that Abuja region is not just celebrating a historic milestone of four hundred years of existence of the Congregation but fourth century of a living legacy of charity and compassion that continues to shape lives across the globe, including our beloved region, Abuja.

In his response, the Provincial Superior, Very Rev. Fr. Damian I. Nwankwo, CM, expressed heartfelt gratitude to His Grace and all collaborators in the Archdiocese, appreciating their sustained partnership in the mission of charity. He affectionately referred to all present as “Vincentians,” sharing in the same spirit of service and love.
Lagos: Regional Celebration of the Four Hundred Year Anniversary of the Congregation of the Mission

The Mass intention was articulated by the archbishop who thanked God for all that the Vincentian fathers have accomplished in various parts of the world especially in our country Nigeria, clarifying that four hundred years is a lot of years. He prayed for God’s blessings on all priests of the Mission in Nigeria that they may continue to deliver service to persons living with poverty.
